(Note to J: needs fleshing out with screenshots) - using Audacity GENERATE - > WHITE  NOISE feature

 

  • Generate White Noise
  • Look at spectrum
  • pass sound through different absorption media such as foam
  • record sound on the other side
  • compare with white noise profile
